With innovation in mind, our hospital has been approved to be one of the first approved Postgraduate Education and Innovation bases in Fujian Province.

In order to promote the training for advanced innovative-talents and enhance the quality of postgraduate education for social service purpose, Fujian Provincial Department of Education, Fujian Provincial Department of Finance and Academic Degrees Committee of Fujian Province have established 35 Graduate Education and Innovation bases pursuing study-research-application integration in 9 universities including Xiamen University, Fujian Medical University, etc. Among which the Postgraduate education and innovation base for Neurology co-founded by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University and Fujian Medical University is the only innovative medical program base for postgraduates in Xiamen now.
